The purpose of these courses is to provide students preliminary experiences with skills related to a variety of careers. Course content will consist of instruction in making career choices, basic employability skills that relate to content extracted from any family and consumer sciences exploratory course including the development of leadership and organization skills within the program.
The mission of Family & Consumer Sciences is to strengthen families and empower individuals to take action for the well-being of self and others in the home, workplace, community and the world.
